Hey there, my champions of change!

Today, I'm sharing a piece of my heart, a chapter from my journey that's not just about tax strategy, but about breaking barriers, setting new standards, and celebrating milestones. Let's dive into my story of becoming the first Black Woman Certified Tax Strategist in Georgia, as recognized by the American Institute of Certified Tax Planners. 🥂

A Milestone Worth Celebrating:

Navigating the intricate world of tax planning and strategy, achieving the status of a Certified Tax Strategist was a journey filled with dedication, late nights, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. But coupling that with the nuances of being a Black woman in a predominantly male and less diverse industry added layers of challenges. This achievement isn't just a personal accolade; it's a testament to resilience, determination, and excellence.

Why This Matters to Me (and Should to You Too!):

• Representation: Being a beacon in the tax planning industry is crucial. It's about showing young Black women that they too can aspire, achieve, and excel in any field they choose, no matter how niche or challenging.

• Diverse Perspectives: My background brings a unique approach to tax strategy, ensuring inclusivity and a broader understanding of various financial landscapes.

• Inspiration for the Next Generation: I hope my journey serves as a beacon of hope and a source of inspiration, showing that barriers can be broken.

The Journey Ahead:

While this recognition is a significant milestone in my career, it's also a reminder of the work that lies ahead. It's a call to action for the industry to be more inclusive, to recognize talent irrespective of gender or race, and to create opportunities for all.
